About the Little Rock Writing Workshop

We are a group of writers who meet twice a month to offer critiques and suggestions on works-in-progress. This writing workshop is for writers of all types: fiction, nonfiction, poetry, screenwriting... for beginners, college-trained, semi-professionals, and Pulitzer prize winners. All genres are welcome, as long as you're willing to provide and accept thoughtful feedback.

What to Expect

Whether you're published or writing for the first time, come check us out! All forms of writing are welcome. No need to submit anything to attend.

We joke that everyone is entitled to their "wrong" opinion. Each workshop is intended to help writers improve their craft through constructive feedback, thoughtful dialogue, and encouragement.

location & what to BRING

We typically meet at a member's house in their backyard.

Bring a chair! Some people bring a laptop or print out the submissions, while others just use their phone to reference the work.

There's no cost to join or be part of this group. Once a year we'll ask for donations to cover the cost of maintaining the website, but nothing is obligatory.

Sign up to receive special announcements and reminders from the Little Rock Writing Workshop.

(It's a minimum commitment, we promise.)
