About the Little Rock Writing Workshop

We are a group of writers who meet twice a month to offer critiques and suggestions on works-in-progress. This writing workshop is for writers of all types: fiction, nonfiction, poetry, screenwriting... for beginners, college-trained, semi-professionals, and Pulitzer prize winners. All genres are welcome, as long as you're willing to provide and accept thoughtful feedback.

What to Expect

Whether you're published or writing for the first time, all forms of writing are welcome.

You don't need to submit anything to attend, either.

Each workshop is intended to help writers improve their craft through constructive feedback, thoughtful dialogue, and encouragement.

location & what to BRING

We typically meet at a member's house in their backyard.

BYOC - Bring your own chair!

Some people bring a laptop, while others just use their phone to reference the submissions being critiqued.

There's no cost to be part of this group. Once a year, we'll ask for donations to cover the cost of maintaining the website, but nothing is obligatory.
